Shade Solace is a music video released as part of artist Jung Inwoo (Sal Sal)'s audio-visual performance and full-length album.
I was involved in the overall planning, visualizing, and production of this video, from the ideation of its visual narrative to its execution.
The video explores light and shadow, amorphousness and irregularity. While creating this video, I experimented with diverse visual backgrounds to establish an environment for objects, even though no distinct objects are visible.
Here, “objects” refer not to a single large subject, but to multiple entities possessing vitality within the environment itself.
