Module No.22 is part of a personal speculative design series titled 'Assembly.'
The project explores fictional objects that exist outside conventional function, yet feel visually and materially believable. This particular module imagines a toy-like form composed of interlocking parts that respond to rotational movement. As the object turns, its silhouette fluctuates-oscillating between flat, graphic impressions and complex three-dimensional depth. This transformation evokes a sense of visual play, drawing attention to how perception shifts depending angle and form interaction.

During this visual project, the image I aimed to create was a short motion graphic where a flat-looking graphic gradually reveals a sense of depth.
To achieve this, I layered the motion video into a total of three visualizations.

① The first motion video is the model's frame, the gizmo.
② The second motion video used TouchDesigner to recognize the rotating model and applied instancing to create a patterned 2D graphic.
③ Finally, the main object motion graphic features texturing that emphasizes its three-dimensionality.

In the group exhibition, we were each assigned a room within Unreal Engine and proceeded by placing our respective objects for display. I aimed to present my two modules in an outdoor environment, creating an immersive experience where the panning sound of the hardware seemed to grow louder as one approached, as if the modules were rotating.
